A Big Renovation: Interior

March - May 2025 was a busy time for the inside of the retreat center. Repaint the living room - that was the goal. And before we knew it, we were also replacing the carpet with oak flooring, painting the walls upwards towards and then including the master suite (why not?), and adding air conditioning throughout the house. Then renovating a bathroom on the main floor, and retiling the mudroom. Then repainting the kitchen cabinets… Here are some fun photos of the journey.

From walls of popcorn finish and antique floors that had yellowed over time, to a refined look with refinished floors, a new chandelier, and air conditioning (heat pump). Local artist watercolors.
